~ Town of Rutland ~
One development right is allowed for every 40 acres owned in Rutland Township. 10 development rights would go with the Town of Rutland land. Rutland Township has allowed selling or just moving the rights from farm to farm. Due to the 66’ frontage requirement none of the 10 development rights plus the present home and buildings would meet the Townships frontage requirement.
~ Town of Dunn ~
January 29, 2014, RE: Klein Family Farm LLC – The question was asked, could a home be constructed on the 55.74 acres in the Town of Dunn?
Under Town of Dunn land use policies, a home could be constructed on the property if the proper conditions and approvals are met. The home would have to remain with the 55.74 acres and could not be divided onto a separate lot due to prior Town of Dunn development rights. In addition, a rezone or conditional use permit approval would be required. Our Plan Commission and Town Board use the Review Criteria for Site Plans and New Development in considering such approvals.
Taxes: 2013 taxes for the Town of Rutland 360.5 acres, home & buildings were $5,132.13 and taxes for the Town of Dunn 55.73 acres were $271.74.
