Additional Farmland For Sale Information

Scenic, secluded, walled in by forest, could be compared to a natural wildlife viewing area with deer and other animals. Solid, quiet and cozy brick home could use cosmetic upgrades of interior paint, ceilings and carpet.
4/3.5 Brick Home, Metal Barn, Hay Barn, 49 Acre Coastal Hay Pasture, Clay Airstrip & Windsock, Pond. Currently listed by Murray Real Estate Services (Jason Murray), Longview, TX. I am the house sitter and 13 year resident of the property (Tom), and along with my two sisters, we are the beneficiary owners. For 13 years now, almost everyone who visits says what a nice property this is. Largely tranquil and peaceful with marvelous views. We were told by a hay client that his animals liked and preferred the hay from this pasture. We are close to having a permanent easement from a neighbor who has cut an easement corridor for us as part of his timber operations. A lady from Wyoming wanted this property for her 6 horses and family but the bank wasn't able to loan on the temporary easement at the time. This dwelling is a main house with an attached apartment (suite) added on sometime during the 1980's for a mother-in-law. It has a large walk-out basement/half bath/storage room under the apartment. The entire interior of the house and apartment is in ok shape, but could use new paint and ceilings. However, new carpet is really only needed in the main house living room, hallway and two bedrooms. Even so, all of the dwelling (house & apartment) is currently quite livable right now and could be moved into today. The well water tastes great, with a 1 year old well pump at about a 65 foot depth, being about 15 ft submerged. The well is located in a 10' X 12' fiberglass paneled, wood framed greenhouse that could use new fiberglass roof & sides, but the wood framing is fine. Copper plumbing in the main house/apartment has been mostly replaced with pex pvc because of copper pinhole leaks occurring around 2005, so the pex plumbing is rerouted through the attic. House will need a new roof but is ok for now. Large all metal 6000+ sq ft barn/shed/aircraft hangar with entire south side of barn wall folding and lifting up with electric motor and cables so serving as the hangar door. However, hangar door needs new "rollers" so it can properly raise for aircraft storage, and the barn roof needs new paint. Also, there is a metal hay barn down the pasture to the east, along with a pond & a concrete picnic table. At the main house, lots of birds like crows, bluejays, cardinals, woodpeckers including squirrels and other seasonal birds that I feed every day. Has been a delightful place to live with fabulous red oak trees that provide shade for the house and backyard during the summer, but however then drop their leaves every winter requiring considerable raking and blowing leaves off of the roof every February or so. Nice sheltered back porch/carport with two convenient porch swings to relax on. Other than the garage and carport which are close in and part of the house, parking space is essentially unlimited outside of the yard fence, both in front of the house and in back and also under the barn shed. The property is a working hay pasture, so for livestock purposes, the entire property's perimeter fencing needs inspecting and repair of breaches and redoing/replacing of the fence in certain stretches.
